As some of you may or may not know. I am married, I have an AMAZING wife. She pushes me to always love what I do. She is constantly helping with my photography ideas. If she wasn't in my life I honestly wouldn't be where I am today. If you've met Kaitlin, then you know she has a glow about her you just can't describe. Honestly, she is one of the most creative people I know, honestly 300x more than I. But she's humble and lets me use her ideas for my work.
Well, before of late. Her and I used to go on many photo adventures together and I would take cool photos of her. Due to busy-ness, and that my wife has began a new adventure of writing a novel-- we haven't done a shoot for a few months. A couple nights ago, she said "I want a new profile picture." haha, It was about 12am when we through together some ideas, and we decided to try something more fashion like, where we could use exciting colors during the editing stages etc.
I love working with my wife because she lets me be me, and she isn't afraid to be herself. This is one of the few 'serious' shoots we have done; most of my photos of Kaitlin are her making the most ridiculous, silly, or as she calls "atrocious" faces. Kaitlin manages a great set of faces, ranging from a deranged Igor to absolutely stunning and I love every last one of them!
I am use to doing rather cute, happy or silly shoots with Kaitlin, but nothing ever this "cold" or "emotional". She wanted photos that could express a range of feeling, something to provoke ideas of fear and loss; shrouded. So thats what we did! The last few images are just her expressing her inner rocker chic.
